Bleeding Tissue ....Oh Boy was it messy !!!

Evening All

Yesterday I went off for my monthly fix of Eileen's Workshop..... Boy do I wish this was weekly !!!

It really was a good day we played with Bleeding Tissue and you may ask what's that...... Well Eileen spotted it on a Children's Site and it took her fancy so she tried it and there our February Workshop was born.....

Bleeding Tissue is a Tissue Paper loaded with Ink / Dye once it's made wet the colour bleeds from the tissue..... We all loved it and all the Ladies made some stunning Art Work which if you go to Eileen's Blog you can see some of their work......    http://eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.co.uk/

Anyway..... I made the background using various die cut pieces of Bleeding Tissue in two layers.....
The first layer needs to dry before going on to layer up the second layer. Then with a couple of Sweet Poppy Stencils I layered the background and then stencilled the main focal image and isn't she just so beautiful !!!..... I love this stencil so much !!! I then stamped the sentiment and heat set it so it didn't smudge. I then hand finished it with some White, Black, Orange and Gold Pens........ and my Canvas was finished and I am really pleased with it...... Think I must away to make another one now.....

Hope you enjoy checking this out and don't forget if you want to see some beautiful Art go check out Eileen's Blog !!!

More Coasters.....Lol

Morning All

Woke up really early today and was wide awake not knowing what to do so I thought I would share my latest set of Candy Box Crafts Coasters with you. I have made these again for Oyster Stamps so they can display them at their Shop and Shows.

This time I used Designs By Ryn - Sea Creatures Set 1 and 2 and also the Rising Bubbles from the Water Effects Unmounted Stamp Set. I coated the Coasters with 2 thin Coats of White Gesso and then I gave them 2 Coats of PaperArtsy Fresco Paints. The Colour I used was Snowflake which is a beautiful White and it then gives me chance to use a Stencil to layer over the top with pale colours so it isn't too dark for me to stamp over and colour the images with Distress Pens........

See you again soon xxx

I went to the first workshop of 2015 for Hobby Art and I really had a good day......Such a wonderful bunch of people......Jenny and her Daughter Becki and her Son Pete and the Team are just so lovely and we all had a great time..... Met up with a couple of friends Doreen, Michelle, Karen and Fizz just to mention a few...... Here are the cards I made and also a little Printer Tray Booklet...... I loved making the little Printer Tray Booklet as it involves a lot of fussy cutting which is right up my street.

All coloured with distress Inks, Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers which are to die for and Distress Markers my favourites......... Hope you like my makes....take care and I'm now off to make some more sample......Enjoy your Day !!! xxx
