Stampendous Pansies .....

Evening All

Here's my latest Card..... For this one I used the Stampendous "Psnsies" Cling Rubber Stamp and I absolutely adore this..... I decided to use a Triple Fold Heart Card that I first started at the Oyster Stamps Retreat but due to illness at the time never ever finished it so I thought waste not want not,,, time to finish it. It really is too pretty to waste and in fact I just had to buy the Dies to be able to make more as I loved it so much,,,,.

With the Stamps I stamped them onto printed paper to cut down the painting time and just enhanced their colours with a touch of Distress Inks ..... Then I layered them up to make them look real....well as real as I could but at least they have that 3D look......

I do hope you will give it a go ..... Go on just try one small flower and see just what a difference it makes to your project.....

Isobel's 2nd Birthday......

Hi again all..... Blogging twice in one day is beginning to be a bit of a habit..... it seems that my blogging is a bit like buses, they always come along in Two's or Three's, lol.....

I was commissioned by a lovely Lady called Lorrayn to make a card for her Niece's Isobel's 2nd Birthday after she saw a card I made called "Bubble Boy" by Penny Black that I had made.... Lorrayn asked me if I could make a card along the same lines as the Bubble Boy but for a little girl so I went in hunt for a stamp that I could use or adapt and yes I found one and it's called "Make a Wish" again by Penny Black..... I stamped the little Girl and also the little Boy and cut the Bubbles and the Bubble Wand and added it in place of the Dandelions on the little girl..... The reason that Lorrayn wanted to incorporate the Bubbles is because she always sees Isobel blowing bubbles and thought that she would love the card..... in fact Lorrayn did mention it to me Isobel and her Mum loved the cared so much they are going to frame it and hang it in her bedroom..... What a compliment that is, I was over the moon that they loved it that much to do that..... Thank you !!!

My Workshop at Oyster Stamps..... Sunday 3rd May..... Stampendous with a twist !!!

Well the day finally arrived for me to do my Workshop at Oyster Stamps and I was really blown away with the Ladies results and they all seemed to enjoy themselves and was very pleased with their beautiful Work.....

Ladies I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it such a lovely Day and so enjoyable..... 

Here is my Sample that I made using the Stampendous "Peony" and "Spotted Feather" Cling Rubber Stamp..... I decoupaged these up over a Stencilled background using the beautiful Stencil by Ryn called Maidenhair Fern..... Hope you like them although I must say the photo's do not do the colours justice !!! .....

 

Now here are the Ladies finished MDF Heart and I think they are truly stunning and I hope you do too !!!

New Lavinia Stamps Challenge for April - "Pink or Blue or Both" !!!

Morning All.....

Here are my three Samples that I have made..... Hope you like them !!!

My first was made on a MDF Heart gesso'd and stencilled to create a background for me to stamp on and the I have used the lovely stamp "Moon Gazing Hare" and the pretty Maple Leaf stamp both stamped in Black Archival Ink.....

For my next sample I used the "Floral Spray Stamp" which I stamped onto a blended Distress inked background that I had created and I stamped the new Background Script Stamp which is just beautiful and can be used in so may ways..... I just love that stamp !!!

 



 

......and for my 3rd Sample I have used "Sitting Fairy" stamp which is adorable with her lovely face..... I first stencilled a background and then stamped in various shades of pink the "Bluebell" stamp and once I was happy with my background I hi-lighted the background in places using the Sparkle Gel Pen which add that little bit of something else, bling !!!.... I stamped and painted the Sitting Fairy" and then decoupaged the image to make her look as if she is real.....
