Lavinia Challenge "Create your own Vision" Mid Month Inspiration .....

Good Morning and Happy Sunday to you ......

Thought I would share my Mid Month Inspirational Card with you as a little reminder that we are already half way through the Month .....

For sometime I have wanted to just play and use the "Green Man" Stamp as The Man in the Moon ..... Well I played and I think it works well ,,,,,,

The stamps I used .....

The Green Man (Small)
Star Gazing ..... In my case Moon Gazing, lol
and a couple of my all time favourites .....
Spotty Toadstool
Maple Leaf

...... all stamped in Versafine Onyx Black
Background Blended Distress Inks in various colours
Spotted Toadstools painted with Clean Color Pens .....
Gold, Silver and White Gel Pens used fro highlights

Thought I would share with you the dilemma I was having with the colours of the leaves ..... I stamped and fussy cut for ages, changing my mind as I went ..... Just hope I choose the right colour combination ..... Well I think it works OK ..... Hope you do too !!!

Well that's it from me ..... now off to do some chores before getting on to the next Lavinia Challenge Samples ..... Whoops nearly let the cat out of the bag but No, you really will have to wait to find out what it is .....

Happy May Day and Woohoo it's the start of a New Lavinia Creative Challenge ..... Create Your Own Vision

Good Morning and Happy May Day .....

Today is the 1st May "May Day" and that means the start of a New Lavinia Creative Challenge ..... and this month's theme is ..... Create Your Own Vision.

I really enjoyed this theme and could of gone on making Cards over and over as my mind was just full of ideas ..... just time prevails for me .....

Now there is a £40.00 voucher that will be given to the winner to spend in the Lavinia Webshop at www.laviniastamps.com ..... You have until 28th of the Month to get those entries in and then a winner will be picked and it'll be announced who is the lucky entrant was on the Lavinia Stamps Facebook Page and on the Website .....

Ok here we go, lol ..... Whoops, I used so many stamps I cannot remember them all but I will try .....

Here are my Cards that I have created for inspiration for you and I just hope that they help you create that winning masterpiece .....

Oh how I loved losing myself within these mystical scenes ..... Lost in the Woodland with the Green Man and then below the waves in a beautiful colourful world of fishes and pretty flowers and corals .....

My first card I used ......

Small "Green Man" Stamp
Small "Stones" Stamp
and the Woodland Stamp

The outlines are stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and Distress Inks and then painted with Distress Inks ..... A Silver and Gold Sparkle Pen has been added for extra interest and highlights on the Green Man's Face and on the Stones .....

My second Card is an underwater scene ..... I will try and remember all the stamps I used .....

Shoal of Fish
Sea Creatures
Seaweed
Sea Bubbles
Fairy Barnacle
Mermaid
Oh and a couple of Bluebell Flowers ......

The background I have splodged some of the beautiful Distress Oxide Inks also available from Lavinia Stamps and then stamped some of the outlines in Black Versafine and painted again using Distress Inks ..... I have used a Silver Sparkle Pen to make those bubbles shine .and also highlighted the bubbles with a white Gel Pen .....

I do hope you like them as much as I did creating them ..... and I really hope that they inspire you to get your crafty stuff out and enter this Month's Lavinia Creative Challenge .....
