New Lavinia Stamps Challenge for April - "Pink or Blue or Both" !!!

Morning All.....

Wow it's May already and that it the start of a New Lavinia Stamp Challenge and this Month it's Pink or Blue or Both !!!

You could win a voucher for £40.00 to spend in the Lavinia Stamps Web Shop http://laviniastamps.com/shop/ ...... So go on give it a go as you know you have to be in it to win !!!

Here are my three Samples that I have made..... Hope you like them !!!

My first was made on a MDF Heart gesso'd and stencilled to create a background for me to stamp on and the I have used the lovely stamp "Moon Gazing Hare" and the pretty Maple Leaf stamp both stamped in Black Archival Ink.....

For my next sample I used the "Floral Spray Stamp" which I stamped onto a blended Distress inked background that I had created and I stamped the new Background Script Stamp which is just beautiful and can be used in so may ways..... I just love that stamp !!!

......and for my 3rd Sample I have used "Sitting Fairy" stamp which is adorable with her lovely face..... I first stencilled a background and then stamped in various shades of pink the "Bluebell" stamp and once I was happy with my background I hi-lighted the background in places using the Sparkle Gel Pen which add that little bit of something else, bling !!!.... I stamped and painted the Sitting Fairy" and then decoupaged the image to make her look as if she is real.....

I do hope you like my samples this month and thanks for popping by to check them out.....

Don't forget if you have any questions about how I have created them please let me know and you can find me on Facebook also where you can send me a Friend Request or just pm me your questions.....

Bye for now and hopefully I will be back soon
Lots of Love
xxx

  7. I love how you've layered up the floral spray - it looks fantastic. I think you really must be the Queen of Decoupage! I'm afraid I couldn't cut out accurately enough to match you - I'm sure I'd end up cutting off a fairy's head or a flower's petal!
    Thanks for the inspiration.

  10. Your use of subtle colours, composition and fine detail goes to make these stunning pieces of artwork Marianne. I am still in awe of how fine you can cut. I had a little try since meeting you at Maidstone and ended up with bent fairy arms or flower stems. What paper/card do you stamp onto please? Love the cheeky fairy, I'm wondering what mischief she's planning in her garden of Eden! Xx
