New Lavinia Challenge - March 2016 - "Any Colour Goes"

Hello all you lovely Crafters

Lavinia Stamps are starting a New Lavinia Challenge this month and the theme this Month is ..... "ANY COLOUR GOES" .....

 The challenge for March is to produce your design using the beautiful Lavinia Stamps with the emphasis on the use of colour, as the title says – “Any Colour Goes”, but use it creatively.....

From March 7th you’ll be able to upload your entries by clicking on the “Monthly Challenge” tab on the Facebook page and then all the Visitors to the page will vote for their favourite entries by clicking "Like". ...... so you can then get your friends to like your creative art work.

WINNERS
 The top 20 entries receiving the most votes (likes) will be short-listed to go before the judging panel who will select a winner on the basis of style and creative use of colour.
The winning entry and the top twenty short-listed will be announced and displayed on our website and Facebook Page, Seven days after the Challenge ends.
 
So come on get creating !!!

Happy New Year to you all !!!`

Well finally I have managed to grab some me time..... It's only the 4th January and after finishing the cards I started at the beginning of December I thought I must share them with you as I really am pleased with how they turned out ..... although I will add the photo's really do not do them any justice !!!

I was so busy creating my Christmas Cards which I had to finish off otherwise they would  never had been sent and I would have had to save them till next Christmas instead of the one just gone and that is part of the reason why I never got around to finishing these cards from Eileen's Workshop that I attended on 12th December and I really am pleased that I went back and finished them as the effects are just beautiful.....

I made them using Gesso through Stencils and then inking once dry and then stamping over the top and once all dried I added the finishing touches. I added the White, Gold and Silver Pen highlights along with the added embellishments like sequins, gems and Stickles Glue highlights...... They just add those extra bit of Bling and Glitz that I believe they needed..... I have downloaded some close ups so you can get in there and see some of the small detail..... I do hope you like them

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I really hoped that you all had a Wonderful Christmas and I would just like to wish you all everything you wish for in 2016 especially Health, Love and Peace..... Bring it on I say !!!

Merry Christmas to you !!!

Good morning to you all

Firstly I just want to wish each and every one of you a Wonderful Christmas and here's to a Healthy, Peaceful and Happy 2016.....

2015 has been a difficult year for us and what a start to the year with me being off work for 3 months after a operation then we had more difficult times ahead what with some of our Pets..... Poor Lucy who has Lymphoma having her weekly Chemo, then Jasper who was kicked and used as a Football, he was lucky to survive and then poor Toby who had an aggressive Tumour removed ..... But all I can say is we all survived it and I am just hoping that the next year will give us a break and is a touch kinder on us all.....

Anyway enough of all that...... I thought I would share with you my 2015 Christmas Cards that I finished by the skin of me teeth and just managed to get them in the post and delivered before Christmas, lol.....

So from me to you have a Super time and hopefully over the Christmas period I will get some more Crafty projects finished (If I stay awake long enough as I have lost so much sleep lately).....

All of the below cards were made using Lavinia Stamps Clear Stamps which I just adore and I lose myself in the creating these for hours so I hope they inspire you go have a go and create so lovely cards .....
